Offercentric is a SCAM!

This is coming from my personal experience, as well as the experience of 3 of my referrals. This is to forewarn those of you who want to try freebie sites, and those of you who are already registered with Offercentric. I registered at www.xbox3604free.com.
I registered with offercentric thinking, "Hey, it looks pretty easy to get 8 referrals to get a free Xbox 360!" But little had I known I just fell into a trap. I registered and was told to select an offer. Naturally, I chose the offer that was free and didn't need a credit card. I completed the offer and clicked the box that says, "I have completed this offer" on offercentric. I then began referring people. I easily got 8 referrals in under a week. They all did the offercentric offer, but only 1 of my referrals got credit for it. I didn't get credit either. So I wait for more than a week (even though it should take 1 business day) before I sent them offer completion follow-up request forms and would would turn out to be 4 support tickets. Still nothing. They kept telling me "If you have not received credit for this offer, this is usually an indication that the advertiser did not approve the lead based on false or inaccurate information". That is garbage, especially since the Fastweb webmaster sent me an email saying I completed the offer(after I emailed him). They just ignored me when I sent them the letter in a support ticket. I was forced to do an offer that cost me money. I got my credit, but I couldn't do anything about the free offers my referrals did. I was able to persuade 3 of my (now) 12 referrals.
Thus comes my next problem. All of them did the offers that cost money, and 2 got credit. As for the other referral, he did the offer and I saw that his account said "Offer completed", but no credit. I tell them, but they say he hasn't completed the offer. That is absurd since I saw it with my own eyes. To this day, they don't want to give him credit. When he sends them an email explaining his issue, they cancel his account!
And my last issue:one of my referrals can't even access his own account. He remembers and is absolutely sure that the user name and password are correct, but he still can't get on the site.
So, I strongly urge you NOT to register with Offercentric. They are a bunch of criminals that are only after your money. They get you to complete an offer without giving you credit even though you did it correctly. That forces you to do another offer. What do they get out of all this? Commission from the companies. It is only beneficial to them. Also, I have read that if you get close to earning the number of credits for the prize, they cancel your account for some absurd reason. Don't waste your time and money on offercentric. Try any other freebie site that is legit. If you are already registered with these criminals and are having issues like me, simply go to
www.bbb.org/complaint.asp
and file a complaint.

I've done lots of these and most often the offer completion is reported within a couple days, a few may take two weeks, and credit cards a month at most but OfferCentric is definitely a scam. I have had 24 friends finished with their offers for over two months with only two greens, even though I have sent in all the reciepts. I have emailed OfferCentric (no response), mailed stuff to San Diego address only to have it returned (no such addresee), and Called them, with no response. I now have a complaint with the Virginia Customer Affairs office with the Attorney General. They have tried to contact OfferCentric twice so far with no response. If you are having problems with OfferCentric I suggest you call Ms. Erin Williams Virginia Office of Consumer Affairs at 1 804 786 1308 and file a complaint. If we get enough people to complain the state of Virginia will take OfferCentric to court. These people really need to be brought to justice. I have already spoken to Napster about them and they have pulled their ads from OfferCentric sites. Don't just gripe, do something, call Ms. Williams. Also call the companies that you completed the promotion for and demand to speak to the people in their affiliate programs. Then tell them what is going on with OfferCentric. Have them pull their ads too.
